Eavan McKinnon is an undergraduate student from Boston Massachusetts, majoring in marine affairs and minoring in oceanography and underwater archaeology. She is on a chemical oceanography track and hopes to pursue this with further education after her undergraduate degree. In her free time she is on the URI club rowing team and professional chemistry fraternity AXS. She is scuba certified and enjoys polar plunging, embroidery and studying polymetallic deep sea nodules.
